Matthias Buhmann studied life science (biology and chemistry) at the University of Konstanz and received his PhD in biology for his research on bacterial-microalgal interactions in biofilms.<\/span><\/h5>
In a protein biochemistry research project at the ZIK-B CUBE of the TU Dresden, he analyzed sugar proteins of microalgae that mediate attachment to underwater surfaces. At the Swiss Federal Materials Research Institute Empa, he worked on antimicrobial materials, biofilm model systems, and analyzed the microbiome of biofilm deposits on medical devices in a clinical study.<\/span><\/h5>
Since 2019, he has been working on the development, commercialization and marketing of medical devices and has developed expertise in cleaners, disinfectants and medical device reprocessing.<\/span><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
